Valentines Day Poetry
Valentines Day Short Poems
Plenty of love
Tons of kisses
Hope some day
To be your Mrs.

My love is like a cabbage
divided in to two
the leaves I give to others
the heart I give to you

Valentine’s Day
Valentine’s Day
Is a wonderful way
To make “I love you”
Easy to say.

Fifty Kisses
Fifty rose pedals for the tears you’ve cried,
fifty kisses to take away the pain inside.
you’ve stood by my side through this bumpy ride, you’ve taken my hand and helped me to better understand.
you’ve been a dream that’s finally come true, my life is better now that I’m with you!!!

He sent his love a valentine
his love didn’t reply
we never dare to care to sign
these things I wonder why

Valentines Day Song
In the silence, they can hear
the cherubs calling their names,
their melodies ringing
in the walls of a lover’s paradise.
Silk sheets envelop
the festivity of the day,
radiating warmth from
tranquil partners.
Panoramic views
of the capital of romance
beckon weary eyes
from the bed to the balcony.
A frail, scarlet petal
loses its precious grip,
after the rose shivered
in the icy February breeze.
Gifts and delicate ribbons
litter the edge of the artists’ canvas.
Their were contents chased down
with France’s finest champagne.
The stars throw light
onto the joyous world,
as it celebrates, parties,
weeps, reminisces.
The cherubs’ harmony
echoes throughout the sleeping city.
Entwined hearts have exclusive company
of the song of Valentine’s Day.

Valentine’s A Day To Say, “I Love You”
Valentine’s a day to say, “I love you,”
A ritual that stages something real,
Letting out the truth of what I feel
Even as I think it often of you.
Nor could I with such grace without this day
Tell you that I’m grateful that I have you,
Impress upon you just how much I need you,
Needing such a frame for what I say
Even as I would my heart reveal.

Valentines Night Poem
The Night Was Made For Romance
The night was made for romance.
In the night our two hearts dance.
Under the stars our lips touch.
In the garden your embrace means so much.
The night was made for love.
Our hearts cooing like a white dove.
Your eyes sparkling like diamonds so white.
I love you darling with all my might.
The night was made for caring and trust.
And darling, God made this night for us.

Valentines Dreams
Beautiful dreamer, wake unto me,
Starlight and dewdrops are waiting for thee;
Sounds of the rude world heard in the day,
Lull’d by the moonlight have all pass’d away!
Beautiful dreamer, queen of my song,
List while I woo thee with soft melody;
Gone are the cares of life’s busy throng.
Beautiful dreamer, awake unto me!
Beautiful dreamer, awake unto me!
Beautiful dreamer, out on the sea,
Mermaids are chaunting the wild lorelie;
Over the streamlet vapors are borne,
Waiting to fade at the bright coming morn.
Beautiful dreamer, beam on my heart,
E’en as the morn on the streamlet and sea;
Then will all clouds of sorrow depart,
Beautiful dreamer, awake unto me!

Be my Valentine
Be my Valentine, for I
Each day have thought of you.
My whole life couldn’t manage what
Your ready smile can do,
Vanquishing my loneliness
As though all light were new.
Let me be your Valentine
Even as you’re mine,
Needing what I have to give
That each might each define
In friendship and in harmony,
Now you, now I the melody,
Each helping each to shine.
