Prakash Jha’s latest political drama “Raajneeti” is set to hit theaters on May 28, but you can already now see Katrina Kaif and Ranbir Kapoor in the upcoming movie’s official trailer.
Apart from Katz and Ranbir, the political thriller also stars Ajay Devgan, Arjun Rampal, Manoj Bajpai and Naseruddin Shah.
“Raajneeti” tells the story of several candiates’ lives and goals during elections in India. DesiHits! recently sat down with the film’s producer, Prakash Jha, who told us that the inspiration for his latest political saga was India’s political system and its complexity.
“I want to understand the methods of democracy we are all affected by, so we’re trying to do that, it’s a great political saga, India being the largest democracy in the world with families, individuals and ideologies that come into play, and the movie tries to tell that story,” Jha said.
“Raajneeti” opens in theaters on May 28, but in the meantime, check out the official trailer and tell us what you think!
