MacBook Pro range is on its way to a quick revamp.

A pair of spanking new, as yet undeclared Apple MacBook Pro notebooks, have been exposed in support files for the newest software update to the developers’ edition of Mac OS X Snow Leopard.

The files tagged as MacBook Pro 6,1 and 6,2 appear in OS X 10.6.2 which was released to developers 2-3 days ago and seems to verify gossips of these innovative machines that, as said by MacRumors, will brag Quad Core processors. The newest MacBook Pro models now have product descriptions that bear the number 5.

The Intel Core i7 processors are by now part of the Mac Pro and iMac lines and that synergy is predicted to carry on with the latest models, though no authorized declaration is possible in the immediate future.

The processors are said to handle multi-threaded apps with more speed.
