The ongoing bloody wave of violence across Karachi rendered seven more families tearful last night by taking the lives of seven innocent citizens. This is the latest news of the Karachi violence episode.

These fresh murders came about in different areas of the city. Two people named as Abrar and Abdul Hamed were gunned down in Bhains Colony.

A youngster identified as Amir Baloch was fired to death along with his friend in the New Karachi area.

A mutilated dead body was found in Star Ground area of Landhi while another corpse with tied feet and hands was recovered from Korangi area. A person named as Mohammad Shahid was found dead in Federal B area. Two dead bodies are still unidentified.

Karachi has been going through unabated violence and bloodshed since the last two decades. No federal or provincial government has bothered to put a full stop before this quagmire so far.

Reportedly, some bigwigs of the establishment in cooperation with the foreign forces are funding and backing this outrageous and inhuman drama in a bid to save their heinous interests.

The crimes like targeted killing, robbery, firing, extortion and land grabbing have become order of the day. Hundreds of thousands of immaculate people have lost their lives in the hell of this unbridled violence.

Due to the exacerbated law and order situation in the industrial hub of the country, a number of investors have packed up from there and moved overseas.

If this gory scene continues, the day is not very far when Pakistan’s economy will fall down to the murderous extent. Unfortunately, no one in our military and civilian set ups is ready to fix this problem.
