Acer has launched Iconia Tab A700 Android Tablet in a bid to compete Apple’s iPad. The new device has lesser price and more efficiency than the third-generation iPad.
This is for the first time a company has dared to come up to the levels of Apple that has been an undisputed world leader since many years.
The Acer’s Tablet has 1920-by-120 resolution display along with 32GB memory, and it sells at $450 which means that it is 25 percent cheaper than the same capacity iPad.
The Iconia Tab is available in black and silver colours. In order to match the device’s display quality with iPad, the manufactures have built it on 16:10 aspect-ratio and 178-degree viewing angle.
The Tab has 10-point tough-capacitive screen that gives quicker and better response than the other tough PCs available in the market.
In terms of storage capacity, the Tap outstrips iPad. It provides 32GB built in memory in $150 less than that of the same capacity iPad. This is the most significant feature that will surly augment its sale.
For the additional storage, the Iconia Tab has a microSD card slot that supports up to 64GB of cards.
The new model is powered by a Nvidia Tegra 3 quad-core processor and 1GB of RAM. Moreover, it runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
The Tab also has a micro-USB port for charging and data transfer. Additionally, it contains a micro-HDMI port that can run videos on home theatre systems.
As a whole, Iconia Tab A700 Android Tablet is a perfect product that will give the users an epic experience in reasonable price.
